cowgirl party theme bride

If Austin is weird, I don’t wanna be right!

Austin has a way of making every single day feel like the best day. The food, the lake, the music, the murals, it all just works. We recently took a full Bach Babes crew to ATX to live out the perfect bachelorette weekend from start to finish, and we are here to spill every detail so you can steal this itinerary for your own group. Buckle up.

Where We Stayed: SoCo Cowgirl Airbnb

First things first: home base. We stayed at the SoCo Cowgirl Airbnb, which is one of our absolute favorite properties in Austin for a bachelorette group. Heated pool, karaoke room, mini golf, gorgeous outdoor spaces, and just minutes from downtown. It became the backdrop for basically the entire weekend and we’d book it again in a heartbeat. Bach Babes groups get 10% off their stay, check it out here.

Day 1: Arrive, Decorate, and Make It a Night

The Bach Babes team got to the house before the group arrived to set everything up, balloons, decor, the whole situation, so when the bride walked in, it was already a moment. This is genuinely one of our favorite parts of what we do. If you want us to handle the setup for your weekend, book with us here.

Once everyone was settled and sufficiently obsessed with the space, a custom cake from Kelley Cakes arrived. They specialize in the most adorable vintage heart cakes and decorated cookies, and Bach Babes groups get 10% off plus free delivery. Right behind it came a charcuterie spread from The Charcuterie Co., because you cannot properly kick off a bachelorette weekend on an empty stomach.

The evening activity was a cocktail-making class hosted by The Cocktail Crew right there in the house. They come to you, they bring everything, and they make it genuinely fun, not just a tutorial but an actual experience. Then we moved the party outside for dinner: Bach Babes brought in table rentals to set up the backyard beautifully, and Let’s Hibachi sent their chef to cook right there at the table. Chicken, steak, shrimp, complimentary noodles, and sake for Bach Babes groups, you honestly just have to roll with whatever they put in front of you because all of it is good. We closed out the night with a PowerPoint night inside (if you know, you know), and it was one of those evenings that will be talked about at the wedding for sure.

Day 2: South Congress, Lunch, and Party on Wheels

Day 2 started with a walk down South Congress, which is basically a non-negotiable for any Austin bachelorette weekend. The murals, the boutiques, the people watching, it’s all there. Stop into Allen’s Boots while you’re on SoCo, because walking out of there with a new pair of cowboy boots is a rite of passage.

Lunch was at Aba, and if you haven’t been, add it to the list immediately. It’s one of the most beautiful restaurants in Austin with a Mediterranean-inspired menu, strong cocktails, and a vibe that makes everyone feel like they’re in a movie. We ordered the Spritz Towers for the table, and it was the right call. Bach Babes groups get a complimentary prosecco toast, so make sure to mention it when you book.

After lunch, we hopped on the Trolley Pub, which is exactly what it sounds like, a pedal-powered trolley that takes your group all over Austin, open air, drinks in hand. It’s silly and fun and everyone ends up loving it. Bach Babes groups get 15% off group bookings. The evening was a low-key pizza and girls’ night back at the house, which, honestly, after a full day out is exactly what everyone needed.

Day 3: Pool Day, Lake Day, and Everything In Between

The last day was the most packed and somehow also the most relaxing.. only in Austin!

We started the morning with a latte and matcha situation from Luna Espresso Bar, who came to the house and served up signature drinks right in the kitchen. This is the kind of thing that sounds like a small detail but genuinely sets the whole tone for the day. Right behind them, Paperboy delivered brunch, an Austin brunch staple that also delivers, so you get the full experience without leaving the pool. Highly recommend.

After eating, everyone lounged by the pool while two pop-up experiences happened right in the backyard. Lovertrucker Hat Co. set up their custom trucker hat station (everyone designs their own on the spot. It’s so fun and the hats are actually cute) and Nina Berenato Jewelry set up a permanent bracelet-making station, because leaving Austin with a piece of permanent jewelry to remember the weekend is the kind of detail that hits differently. Bach Babes groups get 15% off at Nina Berenato.

Once the pool day wound down, Fetii picked the whole group up and shuttled everyone to the lake, no coordinating multiple Ubers, no chaos, just one group shuttle that everyone splits with a QR code scan. Bach Babes groups get 50% off rides all weekend using code BACH50. At the lake, Pink Boat Austin took the group out on their all-pink luxury boat for the afternoon, complete with wakesurfing lessons. The boat is stunning, the lake is stunning, and the photos are the kind that make people at home deeply jealous.

That’s all babes!

Austin delivered in every single way, and this itinerary barely scratches the surface of what this city has to offer. Want us to build something like this for your group? That’s exactly what we do. Book your Austin bachelorette with Bach Babes here and we’ll handle everything from the decor setup to the full itinerary.

Keep it weird, babes. 🤠
