If you’re considering having your bachelorette weekend in CHS - this is your sign! Now sit back and enjoy our mock bride weekend with our honest opinions and tips of navigating through the low country of South Carolina!

DAY 1!

First, we checked into The Ryder Hotel - a boutique hotel located right off of King Street. Not only could we have not asked for the best location downtown but the aesthetic and everything about The Ryder is so adorable! I mean look at these rooms, ugh we can’t rave about it enough! Of course, we had to add our new decor themes to make them even more special! If that hasn’t sold you already, they even have an exclusive pool and bar called The Little Palm for their guests! Who doesn’t love a poolside drink? Little Palm specializes in fresh, vibrant cocktails perfect for sipping in the Charleston sun! They also offer the option to rent day passes and cabanas even if you’re not staying at the hotel! It’s the perfect escape to really give you all the relaxation your weekend deserves!

Next we had a special grocery delivery from Groceries ahead,  a white glove delivery service - so they do all the dirty work for you! From shopping to stocking your groceries, they do it all!

Just when we thought deliveries were over, we had a special champgane delivery from Laura and the label cause we’re celebrating, yall! I mean how do we even pop the bubbly when it looks this cute?!

After that we headed to Sullivans Island to check out Co-Op’s original location to grab some frosé + sandwiches and quickly learned it has the BEST phot-ops! Everything is pink, girly and the frosé is *mwuah* chef’s kiss!

Once we grabbed our frosé we headed to their custom boat that’s completely upholstered in PINK! It doesn’t get much better than a sunset cruise. It was even cool to see the Charleston from the perspective of the water, once you got far enough out you could see all the little steeples peaking out over top of the city! Hence why they call it Holy City. We saw dolphins, danced and drank the night away! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the weekend off!

Day 2!

It’s brunch o’clock somewhere! How could you not start off your day with brunch with the girls?! Poogan’s Courtyard offers an exclusive family style brunch, unlimited drinks and your own private room! The price is 65++ per person which is honestly really reasonable for what you’re getting! The brunch consisted of chicken and waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, shrimp & grits, hash browns, fresh fruit and MORE! Wouldn’t the private room be so cute for a lingerie party to start the weekend? Just sayin! To top it off, Bach Babes groups get a personalized menu and complimentary champagne toast!

Next we shopped and took pics on King Street, This is the most happenin spot downtown so its a must to explore, then headed to the Charleston City market - a historic moment if you will.

Fun fact: this Charleston trip was actually sponsored by margs, queso and tacos and we aren’t complaining! We ate lunch at pink cactus, everything here was so good and convenient! This Oaxacan-inspired restaurant specializes in Mexican Cuisine and dang good queso! Visit here any time of the day and enjoy their killer tamales, tacos, and enchiladas! With a beautiful outdoor patio to eat on, don’t forget the margs! Their margarita’s are some of the best in town with flavors like pineapple, coconut and a pink cactus special!

Next up we headed back to King Street to make perfumes with Tijon! Bach Babes number 5 coming right up! This was actually one of our favorite activities from the whole weekend! Throw on those white coats and choose from over 50+ scents and oils to formulate your very own perfume! How cool would it be to make your own scent for your wedding to have forever? It comes with a custom label you get to name and take home with you! Even if you run out of your new masterpiece of a perfume - they keep all your scents on file to easily come back in and get it refilled! If you’re looking for an activity that doesn’t revolve around alcohol - Tijon is the perfect addition to your weekend!

After that we headed to The Citrus Club for happy hour and the prettiest views of the city! This rooftop bar is located on top of The Dewberry. Their typically is a wait so make sure to make a reservation if this is top of your list to visit! Especially for a quick photoshoot ;).

After happy hour we made our way to Gingerline for dinner and cocktails, talk about aesthetic! This is the perfect cocktail destination with a food menu to match! Gingerline is a tropical retreat in historic downtown Charleston. Their menu combines a southern and tropical vibe to create delicious dishes! It’s so cute on the inside and have the best dinner options and cocktails to get your night started! We highly recommend the flourless chocolate cake - it’s to die for!

Now it’s time to do what we do best… PARTAYYY! We went to Uptown Social and spent the rest of our night on the rooftop dancing the night away! This is a fun spot for a night of drinks, DJ’s, and a good time! Their rooftop comes with the best vibes and photo-ops you could want for your evening! They also have a delicious menu with bar bites and all your favorite shareables!

day 3!

Nothing like some South Carolina biscuits, y’all! This morning we had a special delivery from Callies Little Biscuit to our hotel - cause who doesn’t need a little southern comfort cooking in the morning? Callie’s Little Biscuit is a Charleston staple and offers a variety of biscuits to choose from. Take your biscuit to-go or enjoy it in-house; either way, you must try these famous biscuits at some point on your trip!

After that The Ryder Hotel actually has a poolside bar called Little Palm which we thought was the cutest backdrop for an impromptu photoshoot! It’s giving Sharpay Evans and we are here for it! Make your bride feel extra special by creating magazine covers announcing her wedding or weekend! Like we mentioned earlier, The Ryder’s pool has an amazing aesthetic and zen - perfect for a pool day!

Next, we went back to our rooms for a surprise delivery from Nicole Storey a local Charleston baker who was actually on the Food-Network and Cupcake Wars! We were so overwhelmed and blown away by her desserts! From cake pops, cookies and macaroons to cakes she custom made to match each theme from our weekend - she is amazing at what she does! We can’t recommend her enough for the cherry on top to any special event you’re having in Charleston!

After that we set sail with Saltwater Cycle! Float, party, pedal, REPEAT! Saltwater Cycle is a pedal party boat that takes you across the waters of Charleston! They even take you to some of the iconic locations in Outer Banks which was really cool to see in person! We had the best afternoon living it up on the water!

To keep the vibes going we headed to Saltwater Cowboys on Shem Creek - one of our favorite day drinking spots!

Once we worked up an appetite, we had Cramer’s Cuisine with Private Chef Owen prepare us dinner! This is such a fun activity if you’re wanting a night in, but dont want to miss out! Chef Owen was amazing and cooked us up some appetizers, a risotto fish entree and a lemon blueberry dessert! I mean who doesn’t want a man cooking you dinner? You had to roll us out of this one the food was so good!

Day 4!

The morning started off by grabbing a complimentary latte from The Ryder hotel then dropped off our luggage with charleston bag valet to store and bring to the airport - how convenient!

You never want to see the last day of a fun weekend finally approach… but who says you can’t add one more activity in there to keep the spirits going! No literally, the spirits. By that we mean Charleston’s very own Sweet Grass Vodka at The Sweet Grass Lounge! We enjoyed a morning full of visiting their restaurant and getting a tour of the manufacturing facility in the back! They pump out over 5,000-7,000 bottles DAILY! It’s so cool to see a local Charleston vodka company in production right in South Carolina! After our tour we had brunch that was delicious - we recommend the avocado toast!

Now that we got food in our bellies - time to make cocktails! The Sweet Grass Lounge offers a cocktail making class using their very own vodka! It was so much fun creating new cocktails or ones you already love like an espresso martini! You may need an uber after this one, but you can leave feeling like a professional bartender!

This weekend was just a glimpse of everything Charleston has to offer! Use this itinerary for your own weekend - or head over to our full list of partners to create something more your vibe! Make sure to use your exclusive Bach Babes discount wherever you go!
